I searched locally for a murphy bed, and after being met with blank stares, started an online search. After narrowing my search to get away from particle board, I found there are several sites that offer similar products. Wallbeds by Wilding was the ONLY site that displayed their pricing. I would have to call for estimates with all the others. I liked knowing ahead of time what I would be paying. My husband had some questions, but most of those were answered by watching the installation videos. When I called to place the order, I talked to Penny and she was pleasant and very helpful. Since this was a large purchase, I appreciate that they charged half up-front and the other half when shipped. There were some difficulties with the shipping company, so I called customer service and they were helpful in getting those difficulties ironed out. The Studio series bed was easy for my husband and I to assemble with the directions provided and the video instructions available online. The side cabinets were already assembled except for the crown molding. It is an incredible addition to his home office. Attractive and comfortable, then out of the way when not in use. I was a little surprised when “the hubs” wondered out loud if we could afford another one for the spare bedroom/sewing room. There are already bunk beds in there and having a regular bed in there would just take up too much room when no one is visiting. Again….extremely nice and helpful service when I ordered the second one. They honored my request to use a different shipping company for delivery. I actually installed this one by myself because I just couldn’t wait until the weekend. Probably not recommended, but doable. If I ever need another, I will call Wilding.

I have just finished installing a queen sized, Chalet wall bed. If you read the testimonials at the Wilding website you might think that their product couldn’t possible be that good – it is! There are so many positive things to say: customer service, workmanship, quality control, packaging, even delivery – all superior. For me as a 60+ non-engineer it was the video instructions that were the “frosting on the cake.” This is a big, heavy bed (250+ pounds) with quite a few parts. When the pallet is delivered it can look a little overwhelming. The trick for me, was to take my time; read and reread the instructions and then start and stop the video instructions as I completed each step. As stated in the instructions, there are several places in the assembly where two strong adults are required to move and/or lift the bed. In retrospect, there were several places where one could mess up. The instructions are “right,” they are very thorough. If something doesn’t feel right or fit, YOU have probably made a mistake. Call customer service and talk with a technician, yes I had to – once. I wasn’t sure about something I was about to do and I didn’t want to make a mistake. The installed bed is beautiful and I have a great sense of personal accomplishment. Go for it!

I have been using my new Wilding Wallbed for several months now for guests. I purchased the “Presidential” model, and the quality can NOT be beat. I have shopped many different “high end” furniture stores in my area, and nothing can compare to the quality (as promised) and the beautifully meticulous craftsmanship. The price of the bed is well worth the quality and comfort. The customer service was awesome! I would like to thank the Wilding staff for a product well made (in America!)

The kit came with everything. Clear instructions made the installation a breeze. And the quality is awesome. I live in a tiny place and all I can say is I should have done this years ago.
